JMC as architect and principle consultant designed and documented several regional QFES replacement Fire and Rescue Stations in regional Queensland including Mossman and El Arish.

El Arish is a small rural town with sugar cane located south of Innisfail with aquaculture and sugar cane the prominent industries. The new station is a QFES Standard Design FS2 and complying with all requirements of the National Construction Code and other relevant legislation. The facility also expands during Natural Disaster’s to become a regional hub of State Emergency Services as a standalone facility. The site has its own septic waste system and trenches for disposal of treated water.

Mossman is a hinterland town in Far North Queensland, north of Port Douglas with a population just under 2000.

The new Fire and Rescue Stations are extensively serviced purpose-built facility able to hold two fire engines trucks and ancillary structures for storage and training. The new modern stations provide an emergency response capability which will allow Queensland Fire Emergency Service to meet the current and projected demands, provide training facilities and additional storage facilities.
