Multipurpose Double Court Sports Hall
The Trinity Bay State School Multi-Purpose Double Court Sports Hall was completed end of term 2, 2018. Trinity Bay State High School has a student enrolment of 1634 students and this Multipurpose Two Courts Sports Hall with related support spaces will enhance curriculum delivery and educational outcomes.
The two basketball courts meet national basketball specifications increasing the opportunity of community groups outside of the school to access the facility. The covered linked walkways to and from the sports court were considered in relation to the schools current circulation patterns and visitors arrival and departure.
JMC Architects design team were engaged in this DETE project for services including Developed Design, Contract Documentation and Design Management. A tendered Design and Construct project in association with Field Construct
The building is comprised of a Double Sports Court, Gymnasium, Staff Resource Room, Entry Lobby with Kiosk, Amenities, Change Rooms and Store Rooms.
